"I am Moving, I am Learning.":
The
Office of Head Start has launched a national initiative entitled, I Am
Moving, I Am Learning, as a proactive approach for addressing
childhood obesity in all Head Start children. Learn first hand from Patty,
who is one of four national trainers, as she provides an overview on the
strategies employed to empower Head Start Staff (director, teachers,
assistant teachers), parents, fatherhood initiative staff and the community
in a proactive approach to increase early preferences in children that
include physical activity and healthful nutrition.
